If you don’t know your exact size yet, you can use a simple method:
Wrap a string around the second phalanx, at the widest point of your finger. The string should not be too tight or too loose. Mark with a line where the string meets. Finally, unwind your string and measure with a millimeter ruler the length necessary to go around your finger. This distance in mm corresponds to your finger circumference. You can also use a strip of paper one cm thick.
During many years, the illegal traffic of diamonds served the purpose of financing armed conflicts that resulted in a lot of violence. In order to counter this phenomenon, the Kimberley process was created in 2003. By signing this chart, member state ensure that the purchased diamonds are not used to finance rebel movement nor conflicts.
The rough diamonds are transported and exported in secured containers. They come with certificates that are verified and validated by the local government with a reference number allowing tracability/ in addition, diamonds that are under the Kimberley regulation can only be bought between member states.
Viltier exclusively selects diamonds from suppliers that respect the Kimberley process. All Viltier diamonds are certified conflict-free.
